Baloda Bazar: A major accident took place in Chhattisgarh's Baloda Bazar on Friday. Here 11 people of a family have died in a collision between a truck and a pickup van, this accident happened on the Bhatapara road. 12 family members have been seriously injured.

According to the information received, the members of Sahu family from Balodabazar's Khilora went to Arjuni in a pickup. They were returning late at night. Their pickup was hit by a truck near DPWS school in Khamaria.
3 seriously hurt referred to Raipur
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and other nearby hospitals. The three seriously injured have been referred to Raipur.
Seven died on the spot in the accident. 4 people died during treatment at Baloda Bazar District Hospital. Treatment of 10 injured is going on.
On the information of the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and started the rescue work. While confiscating the truck and bringing it to the police station, a fierce fire broke out in it near Kukurdi bypass.
The fire brigade team reached the spot and the fire was brought under control. There were more than 22 people in the pickup vehicle. The truck was full of pulses.
CM expresses grief
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has expressed grief over the death of eleven people in the road accident. He has expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
The CM has instructed the officers of the district administration to provide better facilities for the treatment of the injured and provide all possible help to the relatives of the deceased.
