Haldi ritual held

A special mandap has been decked up with desi and foreign flowers in Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh palace hotel to give a splendid look to the ceremony.

On Tuesday morning the Haldi ritual was held. Women in their respective families applied turmeric paste to the bride and the groom.

The varmala and the pheras will take place in the courtyard of the hotel. A special ‘bavdi’ has been set up for this purpose.
