Women's Premier League: Smriti Mandhana Sold For 3.4 Crore, Richa Ghosh For 1.9 Crore

Mumbai: The auction of players for the first Women's Premier League (WPL) has begun. In the ongoing auction at Mumbai's Jio World Convention Center, Smriti Mandhana has emerged as the most expensive player ever in the Women's League. She has been bought by Bangalore for Rs. 3.4 crore.

Anjali Sarvani, Rajeshwari sold to UP Warriorz

Among the fast bowler, India's Anjali Sarvani was sold to UP Warriorz for Rs 55 lakh. From the spinners, India's Rajeshwari Gayakwad is sold at her base price of Rs. 40 lakh to UP Warriorz.

RCB bagged Richa Ghosh for Rs 1.9 crore

India wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh, who played a brilliant innings against Pakistan on Sunday, was a hot favourite among the teams. RCB successfully bagged Ghosh for Rs 1.9 crore.

Mumbai buys Pooja Vastrakar for 1.90 crores

Australia's wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy was sold to UP Warriorz for Rs 70 lakh. Mumbai gave 1.90 crores to Pooja Vastrakar

The names of 8 players appeared in Set-4. Of these, 4 were sold and 4 remained unsold. Mumbai bought Pooja Vastrakar for Rs 1.90 crore. 

Harleen Deol  sold to Gujarat for 40 lakhs

At the same time, Australia's Annabel Sutherland was bought by Gujarat Giants for 70 lakhs, Harleen Deol of India is sold to Gujarat for 40 lakhs and Deandra Dottin of West Indies for 60 lakhs. A

There is a long list of unsold players in the list including Afy Fletcher, Alana King, Inoka Ranaweera, Poonam Yadav and Nonkululeko Mlaba.
