4.2 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Rajasthan's Bikaner

Bikaner (Rajasthan): Earthquake tremors are being felt continuously in different parts of the country for the last few days. Earthquake tremors have been felt once again in Bikaner, Rajasthan Sunday morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, its intensity was recorded at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The tremors were felt at 2.16 am and its epicenter was 516 km west of Bikaner. 

However, there is no report of any loss of life or property so far. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Changlang in Arunachal Pradesh half an hour before this. However, its intensity on the Richter scale was measured at 3.5.

Earthquake tremors were felt earlier also

Just last Tuesday, strong tremors of earthquake were felt in many states of India. The intensity of the earthquake was 6.6 on the Richter scale. The impact of Tuesday night's earthquake was felt across northern India including Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. After this shock people got scared and left the house.
