New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad's daughter Rohini Acharya, who had donated her kidney to her father, on Tuesday alleged that the BJP government at the Center had been harassing her ailing elderly father.
Rohini took to Twitter to vent her ire over Lalu's quizzing by the CBI in connection with the land for jobs case in Delhi, pertaining to his tenure as the railway minister.
Rohini does not shy away from taking up cudgel on behalf of her family on social media although she is not in politics. She warned Center amid CBI questioning that she will not spare anybody if something happens unto her father. She said it should be remembered that time is powerful.
"These people are harassing papa. If the harassment leads to any problem, we will rock the seat of power in Delhi. Patience is running out", tweeted Rohini.
Lalu Yadav was interrogated by the CBI at his house. Due to ill health of Lalu Yadav, CBI went to his house and interrogated him. Lalu Yadav has recently undergone kidney transplant in Singapore.
During the questioning, being videographed, Prasad was confronted with some documents in a room where he is quarantined post his kidney transplant surgery.
The CBI has filed a chargesheet in the case against Lalu, his wife Rabri Devi and 14 others under charges of criminal conspiracy and provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
