This is common in metropolitan cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad.
But whatever happened in Ratlam cannot be called normal. In fact, during this body building competition, women body builders were seen performing in short clothes in front of the statue of Lord Hanuman ji. After this news came to the fore, both the BJP MLA and the mayor have come under controversy.
Body building competition was organised in Ratlam on Sunday, March 5. BJP MLA Chaitanya Kashyap is the patron of the organising committee. At the same time, the name of BJP mayor Prahlad Patel is registered as the chairman of the organising committee. All BJP councilors are included as members of the committee.
Cong accused BJP of spreading obscenity
In the program organised by this committee, women participants were seen walking in short clothes in front of Lord Hanuman ji on the stage. After the obscene video of the programme surfaced, the Congress accused the BJP of spreading obscenity and making fun of Indian culture.
On the other hand, the Congress organised Sunderkand in the Competition Hall on Monday. Not only this, they sanctified the hall with Gangajal. The general public has also given a sharp reaction to this incident in the social media as well. Along with this, Hindu organisations have also raised objection regarding this incident.
