New Delhi: Posters in support of Manish Sisodia were seen at a government girl's school in Delhi. A huge flex mentioned 'I Love Manish Sisodia'.
A first information report (FIR) was filed after the posters supporting Sisodia were found at the Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya in the Shastri Park area of Delhi.
The Delhi police registered the FIR against School Management Committee convener Ghazala and Principal Geeta Rani on the basis of a complaint filed by a person named Diwakar Pandey. The school has been booked under the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act, 2007.
'School provided desks and hung posters in support of Sisodia'
The FIR alleged that the school provided desks and hung posters in the support of Manish Sisodia. The FIR said they were running the campaign and using the school for the purpose.
According to the FIR, Geeta Rani and Ghazala set up a desk at the gate of the school on Saturday morning, and installed flex banners at the gate.
'Principal misused the school property'
The complainant said that the school principal misused the school property to defend an accused and also used the school students in this propaganda.
The FIR said that the glorification of Delhi's former Deputy Chief Minister Sisodia, accused in Delhi Excise policy case, was like making a mockery of the constitution.
The complainants demanded police action against the accused with immediate effect and has demanded the removal of the Principal of the school.
