Madhya Pradesh: Mauganj Will Become New District Of State By Merging 4 Tehsils; National Flag Will Be Hoisted At Mauganj District Hq On August 15

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the government's promise of making Mauganj tehsil a district is being fulfilled today. Four tehsils Mauganj, Hanumana, Naigarhi and Dev Talab will be merged to form a new district Mauganj of state. 

The process of making the district will start immediately and the National Flag will be hoisted at the district headquarters on August 15.

CM Chouhan participated in the public welfare program at Mauganj in Rewa district today. He transferred ex-gratia amount of Rs 605 crore to 27 thousand 310 labor families of the state with a single click in their accounts under Mukhyamantri Jan-Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana 2.0. 

The Chief Minister also performed bhoomi-pujan and inaugurated development works worth Rs 738 crore 92 lakh. He started the program with Kanya Pujan. Also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. 

CM also inaugurated the exhibition on development, achievements and innovations put up by various departments at the venue.

CM Chouhan said that a large number of employment opportunities are being made available to the youth in the state. About one lakh youth will be given benefits in the next one year under the Seekho aur Kamao scheme. 

Chief Minister Chouhan also announced construction of town hall in Mauganj, development work in industrial area, degree college in Hanumana, construction of ghats, road construction and various works in tribal sub-plan.
