Pushkr (Rajasthan):The 4-day International Holi Festival in Pushkar began on Saturday evening with Maha Aarti at Brahmaghat of Pushkar Sarovar. Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) chairman Dharmendra Rathod performed Maha Aarti. This was followed by a bhajan evening at the Brahma Vatika Amphitheater located in the Brahma temple. Renowned classical singer Vidya Shah performed in it.
The International Holi Festival in Pushkar has been organized by the Tourism Department and Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation. RTDC chairman Dharmendra Rathore said that International Holi Festival Pushkar 2023 is being organized to give it recognition at the international level.
Tourism will get a boost
Dharmendra Rathore told that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had the intention that there is a temple of Brahma ji in Pushkar, it is known all over the world. The people of the country and abroad will get information about the traditional Holi festival from the Holi Festival of Pushkar. Tourism will get a boost in Rajasthan and Pushkar. The beginning of the festival is a historical one.
Kalbelia Dance by Gulabo Sapera
Camel show will be organized on March 5 at 4 pm at the fair ground. At the same time, Maha Aarti will be organized at Varah Ghat of Pushkar Sarovar at 6:30 pm.
Kalbelia dance will be presented by Padmashri Gulabo Sapera at 7 pm at the fair ground. Then at 8 pm, a religious bhajan evening will be presented by Anuradha Paudwal at Maila Maidan itself.
Grand Holi programme on 6th March
Dharmendra Rathore further told that a grand Holi programme will be held on March 6. The programme will start from 4 pm itself. Chang, Duff, Kachhi Ghodi and Gair dances will be staged in a big way at Brahma Chowk, Holika Chowk and Brahma Vatika at 4 pm.
Deep daan with 1.5 lakh earthen lamps
At 6:30 a grand deep daan will be organized with about 1.25 lakh earthen lamps at 52 ghats of Pushkar Sarovar. There will be Maha Aarti at Brahma Ghat. There will also be fireworks on the lake.
Music concert by Hariharan
Holika Dahan and Holi of flowers will be held at Brahma Vatika Amphitheater at 7 pm. A music concert by renowned singer Padma Shri Hariharan will be held at 7:30 pm at the Mela Ground.
Bollywood stars will perform
On the day of Dhulendi, Maha Aarti will be held at Gau Ghat at 6:30 pm on March 7. There will be fireworks at 7 pm at the fair ground. Bollywood singer Amit Trivedi will give his performance on this day at the fair ground.
