Jaipur: Factionalism in state BJP appears to be deepening as two separate programmes will be held today i.e. on March 4. The first is the birthday of Vasundhara Raje and the other is party's protest programme against state government and the gherao of CM House.
In such a situation, the central leadership has taken the developments seriously and State BJP in-charge Arun Singh will be in Jaipur on March 4 to end the controversy.
Activation of anti-Vasundhara faction
On March 4, Vasundhara Raje will celebrate her birthday, on the same day, on March 4, the BJP is going to organise a massive protest against the state government under the leadership of party state president Satish Poonia.
Protests will be held on issues like paper leak, deteriorating law and order, women's safety in the state. This is being seen as activation of anti-Vasundhara faction in Rajasthan BJP. Satish Poonia has instructed BJP MLAs to join the protest.
The state leadership is making preparations for the programme announced by the party. Earlier the BJP was about to gherao the assembly, but the proceedings of the assembly were adjourned till March 12 on Friday, so now the CM house will be gheraoed. BJP spokesperson Pankaj Joshi told that due to the adjournment of the assembly, now the party will gherao the CM House.

There are posters of both the programmes outside the BJP office. Due to both the programmes being fixed on the same day, there is factionalism among the leaders and confusion among the workers.
For the birthday celebrations of Vasundhara Raje, her supporters have been making preparations for the past several days. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will celebrate her birthday in Salasar Churu today. Her birthday is on March 8 but on account of Holi on that day she is celebrating it four days in advance i.e. on March 4.
Vasundhara camp is increasing its activism before elections
About one lakh people are expected to gather in Salasar on March 4. For this, leaders close to Raje have held several rounds of district-wise and assembly-wise meetings across the state. It is believed that the Vasundhara camp is increasing its activism before the elections. It is also being seen as a strategy to put pressure on the national leadership.
Show of strength by Vasundhara
Salasar's programme is also being seen as a show of strength by Vasundhara. Before the elections, she wants to show that she still has an army of supporters behind her in the state by mobilizing crowds on the pretext of her birthday.
Central leadership wants to end controversy
In such a situation, the central leadership has taken the situation seriously. State in-charge Arun Singh is coming to Rajasthan to show solidarity in the party amidst the controversy and will participate in both the programmes.
National General Secretary and State BJP in-charge Arun Singh is coming to Jaipur on Saturday morning to balance the situation arising in the party before the elections. He will talk to the office bearers of the organization at the state headquarters at 11 am.

Arun Singh will first participate in the programme to gherao the CM House, then in the evening he will participate in Vasundhara's birthday celebration in Salasar. It is believed that the central leadership wants the controversy arising out of the two programs being held on the same day to be stopped immediately.
Also, this message should be given to the workers that one is the programme of the party and the other is the personal programme of Vasundhara Raje. The two should be viewed separately rather than against each other.
