Chhattisgarh Assembly Election: Priyanka Gandhi Will launch Poll Campaign From Bastar, Will Recall Nehru Gandhi Family's Relation With Bastar

Political parties have geared up for the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. In BJP where the election strategy is being prepared at the central level. At the same time, under the leadership of CM Bhupesh Baghel in the Congress, the party has started preparing the strategy for the assembly elections. 


In the midst of these preparations, the tours of the leaders have already started. The process of coming from central ministers to big leaders of both the parties is going on continuously. Recently, Aam Aadmi Party's Arvind Kejriwal had also held a big meeting in Raipur. Now Priyanka Gandhi will participate in the Matrushakti Sammelan to be held in Bastar.


Matrushakti Sammelan on 12th April


Matrushakti Sammelan will be held on 12th April. Priyanka Gandhi will encourage the women of the state. Earlier on February 26, Priyanka had held a meeting in Raipur.


Priyanka Gandhi will reach Chhattisgarh on the invitation of state Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. CM Baghel had invited hier to come to Bastar. She will come to Bastar on 12 April. A women's conference is being organized in Bastar on 12 April. 


Earlier, on February 26, Priyanka Gandhi held a big meeting at Jora Maidan in Raipur. CM Bhupesh Baghel says that Matrushakti Sammelan is going to be held in Bastar. He has invited Priyanka Gandhi to come to Bastar. 


A big event is being organized by the state government according to the wishes of Anganwadi assistants and women workers. Priyanka Gandhi will also participate in the conference to boost their enthusiasm. 


CM Bhupesh Baghel told that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be on a tour of Bastar on 12 April. Priyanka will attend the women's conference here. He said that the state government has given a big gift to Mitanin and Anganwadi workers in its budget. Regarding this, a big program is being organized at the state level in Bastar.


Will reach Bastar from Wayanad

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will be on Karnataka tour on 10th April. Where they will address the election meeting. After this, on April 11, both the leaders will go to Wayanad. It is from there that Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to reach Bastar. It is being told that Priyanka Gandhi will launch the election campaign from Bastar meeting. 


Congress MLAs have been elected from all the 12 assembly constituencies of Bastar district. In such a situation, before the assembly elections to be held at the end of the year, the Congress is engaged in the exercise of further strengthening those seats where Congress MLAs have been elected. The focus of the Congress is on securing its seats. Therefore Priyanka Gandhi's meeting is being considered important.

Glimpse of relation with Nehru-Gandhi family will be seen

A photo exhibition is also being organized at the Matrushakti Sammelan. Its purpose is to give information about the relation of tribals and Nehru Gandhi family with Bastar to today's young generation. Old photographs have been collected for the exhibition.

Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru had once addressed the gathering at Lalbagh Maidan in Bastar. The stage is now being prepared for Priyanka Gandhi at the same place. On March 13, 1955, Pandit Nehru visited Bastar as the Prime Minister. Then the third National Tribal Conference was organized here. 


To address this conference Pandit Nehru had come to Jagdalpur. After this, along with Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi, Maneka Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have also come to Bastar. In the exhibition, photographs related to the stay of members of the Gandhi family will be on display.
