Atiq Ahmed's relative gave important information regarding Shaista

 


Prayagraj: The Uttar Pradesh Police is wandering door to door in search of Shaista, the accused in the Umesh Pal murder case in Prayagraj and wife of mafia Atiq Ahmed. Even after all the efforts, Shaista is out of reach of the police. For her arrest, raids are being conducted at various places and all the people are being questioned. But the police is unable to find any clue of Shaista. In such a situation, the revelations made by a relative of Atiq Ahmed about Shaista are shocking.

Even after the death of Shaista's husband Atiq Ahmed and son Asad, Shaista Parveen neither came to attend the funeral to shed tears nor expressed grief. She was afraid that the police might catch him.While the revelations made by a relative of Atiq Ahmed can be important for the police as well. 

 

Not an ordinary domestic woman

 

Mohd. Jishan, a relative of Mafia Atiq Ahmed told about Shaista that she is not an ordinary domestic woman. She is fully aware of mafia operations. After Atiq's death, Shaista was not only handling the operation of the entire gang, but she used to keep details of the people associated with the gang. On last February 14, Umesh Pal was murdered in Prayagraj. In this case, allegations were leveled against Atiq along with his family members and accomplices. Since then Shaista's son Asad was also absconding. Whose encounter was done by STF in Jhansi on 13th April. Here in Prayagraj, Shaista's husband Asad and brother-in-law were murdered by three youths.

 

5 policemen suspended

 

Meanwhile, three days after the Atiq-Ashraf murder case, five policemen of Shahganj police station of Prayagraj were suspended on Wednesday. The police department has taken this action after the SIT's inquiry. Those on whom this action has been taken include SO Ashwani Kumar Singh, apart from two sub-inspectors and two constables. 


Atiq's close shooter Asad Kalia arrested

 

On the other hand, on Wednesday, the Prayagraj police arrested Asad Kalia, the shooter of Atiq gang. There was a reward of 50 thousand on him. Asad Kalia is said to be the financier of the Atiq gang. The police is now questioning him.

 

Shooters of Atiq and Ashraf remanded to 4-day police custody

 

Meanwhile, the three shooters involved in murder of mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Khalid Azeem alias Ashraf were remanded to four days police custody by a local court here on Wednesday.


District Government Counsel (Criminal) Gulab Chandra Agrahari said that the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Dinesh Chandra Gautam remanded three shooters Lavlesh Tiwari, Mohit alias Shani and Arun Kumar Maurya to police custody. "The shooters have been given on remand till April 23," he said.


Police sources said that after getting remand of Lavlesh, Arun and Mohit the police took them to Reserve Police Lines for questioning. "The police had sought seven days remand which was rejected by the court and it ordered four days remand of the shooters," Agrahari said.


Police sources said that all the three accused were produced in the court of CJM at 10:45 am. Apprehending an attack on the shooters inside the court premises, tight security arrangements were made and along with local police, RAF, PAC and CRPF jawans were also deployed.
