BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bhopal on 1st April, 2023. At around 10 AM, Prime Minister will attend the Combined Commanders’ Conference-2023 at the Kushabhau Thakre Hall in Bhopal. Thereafter, at around 3:15 PM, Prime Minister will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and New Delhi at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Bhopal.
STATE-OF-THE-ART PASSENGER AMENITIES
Vande Bharat Express has redefined passenger travel experience in the country. The new train being introduced between Rani Kamlapati Railway station, Bhopal and New Delhi railway station will be the eleventh Vande Bharat train in the country. The indigenously designed train set of Vande Bharat Express is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities. It will provide faster, comfortable and convenient travel experience to the rail users, boost tourism and promote economic development in the region.
This will be the 11th Vande Bharat Express train of the country. These trains are running on many important routes including Delhi to Varanasi, Delhi to Himachal.
TRAVEL TIME WILL BE REDUCED
This new train for Bhopal will make the journey comfortable on the one hand and on the other hand, the travel time will also be reduced to just 8 hours. The Vande Bharat Express train will run at a maximum speed of 160 kmph and will complete the journey in a duration of 7 hours 50 minutes.
In this way, its travel time will be an hour less than the Shatabdi Express running between New Delhi and Bhopal. This train will run from Bhopal in the morning, which had been a demand for a long time. The reason for this is that people catching international flights used to reach a day earlier. In such a situation, people will be able to reach Delhi by afternoon on the same day and take flight in the evening. Railway officials say that this train will have a total of 16 coaches and its maximum speed will be 160 km per hour.
PM WILL INTERACT WITH CHILDREN
Railway officials told that PM Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train at 3.15 pm, then this train will leave for New Delhi. The children will board the train directly. The PM will interact with the children in the train itself. After holding talks, the PM will flag off the train.
JOINT COMMANDERS CONFERENCE-2023
Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister will attend the Joint Commanders Conference-2023 at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall in Bhopal at around 10 am. The three-day military commanders conference is being held from March 30 to April 1, 2023.
The theme of the conference is 'Ready, Resurgent, Relevant'. Various issues related to joint battlefield preparedness of the armed forces will be discussed during the conference. There will also be a review of the progress of the defence ecosystem towards the preparedness of the armed forces and achieving 'self-reliance'.
Commanders of the three armed forces and senior officials of the Ministry of Defence are participating in the conference. There will also be an inclusive and informal interaction with the Army, Navy and Air Force.
