Khargone. A major accident has taken place in Khargone district of MP. There has been a bus accident here in which many people have been reported killed. In Khargone, 15 people traveling in a bus fell into the river and died. This accident happened on Khargone Thekri Marg. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot and the rescue work was started.
The bus was going towards Indore. It fell down from the bridge built on Borad river. This accident happened in Darbhanga, about 40 km from Khargone. In which 15 people died. While around 20 people were injured. A magisterial probe into the accident has been ordered.
Assistance announced for victims
The Madhya Pradesh government has announced free treatment for the injured in the accident as well as compensation for the next of kin of the deceased.
According to the information received from the officials, this bus was going towards Indore on Tuesday morning. The bus left Khargone and had reached near Dasanga on Temla Marg when the bus lost control and fell off the bridge. Hearing the loud noise after the bus fell, the people around reached the spot and pulled out the injured.
Bus fell from 50 feet high bridge
The death toll is expected to increase. Senior officers of police and administration along with villagers have also reached the spot for relief and rescue. The rescue team is constantly evacuating people and sending them to the hospital. According to police and administration officials, the death toll is expected to increase.
Borad river is dry due to which the people traveling in the bus got injured - This bus accident happened in village Dasanga on Khargone Thikri road. Here the bus fell down from the bridge of Borad river. The bus fell down from the 50 feet high bridge of Borad, causing casualties. Just Maa Sharda Travels is being told.
