Karnataka Elections 2023: PM Modi Holds 8 Km Long Road-show In Bengaluru; Fans Arrive Wearing Masks Of Bajrang Bali

 

Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive two-hour road show here on Sunday, the penultimate day of campaigning for the Karnataka assembly elections, amid slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Bajrang Bali. Assembly elections are to be held in the state on May 10.

 

Modi's fans wore masks of Bajrang Bali on their faces. They sang and danced to the beats of drums and recited Hanuman Chalisa. Some of the fans were dressed as Lord Hanuman and carried maces in their hands. These people raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram and Jai Modi.

 

Modi's convoy passed through 13 assembly constituencies

 

Modi's eight km long walk received an overwhelming response from his supporters and people showered flower petals on him. His convoy passed through 13 assembly constituencies in the eastern and central parts of Bengaluru city.

 

Modi started the roadshow by paying floral tributes at Kempe Gowda's statue at Thippasandra and ended the roadshow by visiting Trinity Circle.


People  lined up on both sides of road for over 2 hours

 

People of all age groups lined up on both sides of the road for more than two hours to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. People's enthusiasm was at the peak as they shouted slogans.


BJP leaders claimed that this is the second longest road show ever by any Indian politician. The first such road show was organized by Shri Modi in Ahmedabad city before 2022 Gujarat assembly elections.
