Cyclone Biparjoy: Devotees Rejoice As Dwarkadhish Temple Reopens



The famous Dwarkadhish Temple located in Devbhoomi Dwarka district of Gujarat was closed for devotees as Cyclone Biparjoy moved towards the coasts of Gujarat. Now Biparjoy has moved towards Rajasthan. 


In such a situation, the local administration has reopened the temple. At the same time, the Saraswati river is in spate due to heavy rains. The area around Koteshwar Mahadev Temple near Shakti Peeth Ambaji in Banaskantha has been inundated.


There was happiness among the devotees following the opening of the doors of the Dwarkadhish temple. Devotees danced and celebrated. People were seen dancing and singing outside the temple. The local administration had decided to keep the famous Dwarkadhish temple in Devbhoomi Dwarka district closed for devotees in view of Biparjoy's possible landfall on Thursday near Jakhou port in Kutch, Gujarat.

A video of devotees dancing and celebrating as the Dwarkadhish Temple in Devbhumi Dwarka reopened has gone viral on social media. The 2-minute 33-second video clip shows devotees dancing and celebrating as the Dwarkadhish Temple in Devbhumi Dwarka reopens for devotees once again. The temple was closed for a few days in view of the severe cyclonic storm Biparjoy which made landfall in Gujarat on Thursday.
