Bhopal: Union Home Minister Amit Shah's proposed visit to Balaghat has been cancelled. The Home Minister's helicopter had flown from Raipur to Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh but had to return midway due to bad weather. After noon the weather of Balaghat deteriorated, the city was covered with clouds due to which the Home Minister had to cancel his visit to Balaghat.
Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Balaghat was proposed today. He was about to address a public meeting here after a road show. Shah was about to inaugurate BJP's Gaurav Yatra on the sacrifice day of Rani Durgavati.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed about cancellation of Home Minister's visit. BJP is running a public relations campaign across the country on completion of 9 years of Modi government. Under this, Home Minister Amit Shah was about to come to Balaghat.
Big leaders of party were to participate
In view of the assembly elections, the BJP is taking out a Gaurav Yatra to woo the tribal voters. In this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State President VD Sharm and other big leaders of the party were going to participate in the programme. Home Minister Amit Shah was about to reach Balaghat to start this Gaurav Yatra.
PM to launch Vande Bharat trains in Bhopal
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that PM Narendra Modi is coming to Madhya Pradesh on June 27. Modi will launch two Vande Bharat trains from Bhopal, he will also interact with the booth workers here. Along with this, the Prime Minister will participate in the programs of Shahdol on 27 June himself. Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatras will culminate in Shahdol and Rani Durgavati's sacrifice day will be celebrated.
PM to launch sickle cell mission
PM Modi will launch two campaigns. Sickle cell mission will be launched for screening and treatment of people suffering from sickle cell disease. More than one crore Ayushman cards are ready in Madhya Pradesh. The distribution of these Ayushman cards will be started symbolically by the Prime Minister. At the same time cards will be distributed in all health wellness centres, panchayats and wards of cities.
PM to interact with Lakhpati Didis
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi will interact with Lakhpati Didis in the evening on June 27 in Shahdol. Didis in women self-help groups whose annual income is more than one lakh rupees in a year are called Lakhpati Didi. Prime Minister will also interact with the members of football clubs active in villages around Shahdol. Along with this, discussions will also be held with the heads of the tribal communities.
