Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi, Amit Shah Tour Of Vindhya: Will Focus Be On Tribal Voters, What Feedback BJP Has Received About This Class?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Bhopal and Shahdol on 27 June. Prior to this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will come to Balaghat today i.e. on 22 June. Both the top BJP leaders will address the gathering of tribals

Modi visiting Vindhya for second time in 2 months

Modi is visiting Vindhya area for the second time in two months. It is almost certain that Prime Minister Modi will be the face of BJP in the assembly elections. Even though BJP got 24 out of 30 seats in this area in the last election, BJP suffered losses in the civic elections here.

There is no representation from here in the government. Only Girish Gautam became the Assembly Speaker from this entire area, but he could not become the face of the party. Vindhya had fully supported the BJP, but the party did not promote any leader. Anyway, only tribals are at the center of Prime Minister's visit and not Vindhyas.

The tribal population in Madhya Pradesh is around 22%. 47 out of 230 seats in the assembly are reserved for this class. Apart from these, there are 84 seats where tribal voters decide victory and defeat. In the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP had won only 34 out of 84 tribal-dominated seats.

BJP wants to repeat results of last election in Vindhya

BJP wants to repeat the results of last election in Vindhya area, but it is not easy. The BJP organization also has feedback that in this region the party will have to put in all-out efforts to repeat the results of the last election.

This is an area where both BJP and Congress political parties do not have any big face. In the Congress, the entire power comes to a standstill around the former leader of the opposition, Ajay Singh. Faces of many leaders come to the fore in BJP, but their influence does not extend to two or more assembly seats outside their constituency.

BJP's focus on seats of Vindhya-Mahakaushal

Before the assembly elections, BJP has prepared a mega plan to focus on 68 seats of Vindhya-Mahakaushal with the visit of Modi-Shah. Experts also reiterate that the tribal class of the state is going out of the grip of the BJP. This is the reason why the party is trying to win over this large vote bank by making its two most popular leaders among the tribals as its faces.

BJP trying to win over tribal class

The BJP is more focused on the tribal area, as tribals are moving away from saffron party. Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu has also visited Shahdol. The PESA Act was implemented with much fanfare to woo the tribals.

RSS holds Adivasi Kumbh every year in Mandla

Rashtriya Swayam Sevak (RSS) has been organizing Adivasi Kumbh every year in Mandla. BJP is following this agenda of RSS. The BJP's event is a part of the RSS's campaign to make tribals Hindu.

BJP, RSS are getting this feedback

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is also continuously making similar efforts, but the tribals are not able to trust BJP. This type of feedback is being received by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh apart from the government and the organization. Although a lot is being done for this class at the central and state government level, but its effect is not visible at the moment.

PM will stop at house of a tribal family

In Shahdol, after addressing a public meeting in Lalpur, the Prime Minister will reach Pakaria village, 6 kilometers away.
