Minor Wrestler Changes Statement Regarding Sexual Abuse By Brij Bhushan Singh

New Delhi: The minor wrestler has changed the statement alleging sexual abuse by former WFI President Brij Bhushan Singh. She said that Brij Bhushan had discriminated against her that’s why she made the allegation. This has been confirmed by the father of the minor wrestler.

We changed statements in SC on 5th June: Minor's father

The minor's father said- We had changed the statements in the Supreme Court on 5th June. I changed the statements not because of any greed, but out of fear. I do not want to say who has threatened. I have family too. If anything happens to me, my family will be ruined. I am scared. My whole family is in depression.

Father said- My daughter had a trial match. Athletes from Delhi and the referee and mat chairman were also from Delhi. My daughter was discriminated against.

Then the daughter had a spinal operation, still she played the match keeping her spirits high. That referee again discriminated against her. She was defeated in wrestling by 1 point.

I sold my house: Minor's father

I am selling my house and getting my daughter to wrestle, I have no support from anyone. My daughter did not eat even last night; she is very depressed, said minor wrestler’s father.

I am with her on dharna for the last 40 days. The family had to go through such a mental state after the whole incident, which only I can understand. I have to run a family. The family got depressed after this case.

The father of the minor said – Due to the discrimination with the daughter, we had anger. Appealed in the Federation, but they didn't even listen. The application we gave to the police was partly true and partly false. I have cleared the right and wrong by going to the court.
