PM Narendra Modi gifts 5 Vande Bharat Express to the country from Rani Kamlapati station


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday gifted 5 Vande Bharat Express to the nation from Rani Kamlapati station in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal.


The Prime Minister flagged off five new Vande Bharat trains. There are two Vande Bharat Bhopal-Indore and Rani Kamlapati-Jabalpur routes for Madhya Pradesh. PM virtually flagged off the remaining 3 Vande Bharat trains Ranchi-Patna, Dharwad-KSR Bengaluru and Goa-Madgaon Mumbai. 


Prime Minister Narendra Modi accepted the greetings of the people after flagging off the trains. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for Motilal Nehru Stadium from Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. 


Along with the Prime Minister, BJP leaders including the Chief Minister and Union Ministers also left for the Lal Parade Ground. Earlier, PM Modi tweeted that these trains will improve connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar, Goa and Jharkhand.


As per the pre-determined schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Rani Kamalpati station at 10.30 am.


Trains will start running on track from 28 June


Booking of tickets for Vande Bharat train running between Bhopal to Indore and Rani Kamlapati station to Jabalpur has started. These trains will start running on the tracks from Wednesday, June 28. The official fare has also been announced by the Railways. 


The executive class ticket from Rani Kamlapati station to Jabalpur has been fixed at Rs 1880. While the same ticket from Bhopal to Indore is Rs.1600. Booking of both trains has started on IRCTC app. Both the trains will run with a rake of 8 coaches each. There are 7 AC chair cars and 1 executive class coach. There are total 564 seats. Vande Bharat train is running for Rani Kamalapati and New Delhi.


Schedule will be like this


According to the schedule issued by the Railways, Vande Bharat will leave Indore at 6.30 am and reach Bhopal in 3 hours 5 minutes. In return journey, the train will leave from Bhopal station at 7.25 pm, which will reach Indore at 10.35 pm. 


Apart from this, Vande Bharat Express running between Rani Kamlapati to Jabalpur will leave Jabalpur at 6 am and reach Rani Kamlapati station at 10.35 am. Similarly, in the return journey, this train will leave from Rani Kamlapati station at 7 pm and reach Jabalpur at 11.35 pm. 


According to the schedule issued by the Railways, Vande Bharat Express 20911/12 and 2095/52 will run six days a week except Sundays. There will be a total of 8 coaches in this. Out of which 7 AC chair cars and 1 executive class coach are included. In this, 564 seats have been installed for passengers.

Modi said I congratulate the people of Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra for the connectivity of this modern Vande Bharat train. Special congratulations to M.P. Two Vande Bharat trains have been launched here together. Till now the passengers were enjoying the journey of Vande Bharat between Bhopal and Delhi. Now the journey from Bhopal to Indore and Rani Kamlapati to Jabalpur will be fast, modern and convenient.
