Wreckage Of Titan Submarine Found; OceanGate Says All 5 Crew Members Have Died

New York: The submarine that went to see the wreckage of Titanic has sunk in the sea. With this, the death of all the people including the Pakistani billionaire aboard this submarine has also been confirmed. However, the body of none of them could be recovered.

The wreckage of the Titan submarine was recovered by a remotely operated UAV from Canada on Friday. This debris was lying near Titanic. OceanGate, the company that operates the Titan submarine, has officially announced that they believe five crew members have been tragically lost. The founder and CEO of Oceangate Company are also involved in this accident.

Company's CEO Stockton Rush, Pakistani billionaire businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, British businessman and founder Hamish Harding, and French explorer Paul-Henri Nargeolet "have sadly been lost," OceanGate said in a statement.

OceanGate was meant to explore the wreck of the sunken Titanic, in the Atlantic Ocean off Newfoundland, Canada for USD 250,000 per person.

The Titan's 96-hour oxygen supply likely ended early Thursday.

How the titan submarine sank

Initial analysis of the wreckage suggested that the Titan submarine had sunk due to an explosion. In such a situation, it is feared that the explosion could happen in its equipment or oxygen tank. This submarine was capable of diving to a depth of 4000 meters. The pressure at such a depth is 296 times more than at the surface. If the submarine descends too rapidly, an explosion can still occur. Oceangate has also said that it will be able to reveal the cause of the accident only after a detailed analysis of the wreckage.

A search operation was being conducted within 300 miles of the North Atlantic Ocean since the loss of contact with the Titan submarine. Apart from the US and Canadian Navy, many private agencies were also involved in this. This submarine was claimed to have 96 hours of oxygen, although experts doubted this claim from the beginning.

Was there an explosion in submarine?

The people of the search operation told that there was a terrible explosion in it. The explosion is probably being talked about because the debris was found in two parts. One was the debris of its rear and the other was of the landing frame. Due to this, it is being feared that Titan was broken into two parts.

Ryan Ramsay, former submarine captain of Britain's Royal Navy, says that it will now be ascertained what happened to Titan. Could this accident have been prevented?

The investigation team will now try to collect all the debris of Titan so that the reality can be known.
