Bhopal: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah visited and offered prayers at the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuramji at Janapav Kuti about 50 km from Indore. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, In-charge of Indore district and Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, MP V.D. Sharma, Tourism and Culture Minister Usha Thakur, Dhar MP Chhatar Singh Darbar also visited and offered prayers.
He paid floral tributes to Parshuram's idol. Shah also performed 'Rudrabhishek' of Jankeshwar Mahadev.
Notably, this is Shah's third visit in election bound Madhya Pradesh in a fortnight.
At 3 pm, Shah addressed divisional BJP workers to boost them ahead of upcoming state assembly elections. At around 5pm, the Union Home Minister attended the high-level meeting of state BJP leaders.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed Amit Shah regarding the construction of the proposed Parshuram Lok. He informed that the development of Shri Parshuram Lok is proposed at a cost of more than Rs 10 crore.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced during his visit to Janapav last month that the birthplace of Lord Shri Parshuram ji would be developed as a major religious place and a grand Parshuram Lok would be built here.
