Bhopal: Governor Mangubhai Patel flagged off the bus of students of Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University, Gwalior participating in the international training programme from Raj Bhavan. 18 students of the university have been selected in the Institute Development Programme of the National Agricultural Higher Education Project, run with the financial support of the World Bank and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research.
Out of these, 8 students will receive training in Australia and 10 students will receive training at the Institute of Higher Agricultural Education in the Philippines. Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel, parents, guardians of students, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Arvind Kumar Shukla and professors were present.
Governor Mangubhai Patel interacted with the students and parents. Gave best wishes to the students for their bright future. Asked parents to communicate constantly. Motivated the parents to continuously increase the enthusiasm of the children and boost their morale. The Governor was informed about the research activities of the University. Samples of different species of Shree Anna or Millets were shown.

Nikhil Khare, Kashish Yadav, Shivraj Singh Poswal, Alok Chaturvedi from Agriculture College, Gwalior, Tanu Sisodia from Agriculture College, Sehore, Surbhi Acharya from Horticulture College, Mandsaur and Nikita Solanki and Adesh Kanel from Agriculture College, Indore are among those going to Australia for international training at Western Sydney University, Australia.
Those going to IRRL Manila Philippines include Sneha Vishwas, Sneha Sharma, Suranjana Kumari, Prajikta Katare from Agriculture College, Gwalior, Jaideep Pathak, Munira Kausar Ansari, Marina VL from Agriculture College, Indore, Shruti Tomar from Agriculture College, Sehore, Anurag Sharma from Agriculture College, Khandwa and Gargi Tripathi from Horticulture College, Mandsaur.
