Madhya Pradesh: Third Sawari Of Lord Mahakaleshwar Taken Out With Much Fanfare In Ujjain; CM Shivraj Became Shivmay

 

Ujjain: On the third Somwar of Sawan, Rajadhiraj Mahakal of Ujjain came out to know about the welfare of the subjects. Baba Mahakal gave darshan to the devotees in the form of Shiva Tandav. A large number of devotees gathered for the darshan. Baba Mahakal was welcomed by showering flowers at various places.

 

In the Sawari of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was seen drenched in devotion, as if he himself had become Shivmay. He walked barefoot along with his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh while chanting Jai Jai Kar to Lord Mahakal on Sawari route. He played Jhanjh-Majiras and performed kirtans with Bhajan Mandlis.

 

The third Sawari of Lord Mahakaleshwar was taken out today with much fanfare. Before the Sawari left, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan along with his wife  Sadhna Singh worshipped Lord Chandramauleshwar according to the rituals. The Sawari reached Ramghat via Mahakal Chouraha and Gudri Chouraha.

 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, wife Sadhna Singh reached Ramghat on foot along with other devotees. The Chief Minister was also seen engrossed in devotion to Shiva along with other devotees. CM Chouhan greeted a large number of devotees who were standing on the route to have a darshan of Baba Mahakal's palanquin. 

 

At around 5 in the evening Baba Mahakal's palanquin reached Ramghat where Lord Chandramouleshwara’s Abhishek and worship rituals were performed with the water of Maa Kshipra. CM Chouhan and Sadhna Singh also participated in the worship rituals.Devotees had reached the Mahakal Temple since 12 midnight for Bhasma Aarti.

 

Earlier, CM Shivraj along with his wife Sadhna Singh, sons Kartikeya Singh and Kunal Singh also performed the Abhishek of Lord Mahakal at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. The Chief Minister wished for everyone's welfare, health and a happy life, along with the welfare of the entire creation, as well as the welfare of living beings.

Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple priest Shri Abhishek Sharma (Bala Guru), priest Shri Subhash Sharma performed the pujan-abhishek with rituals.
