Kota: In Rajasthan's Kota, there is no let up in suicides by youngsters. Another student died of suicide in the city. This student had come seven days ago for coaching. He was a resident of Jalore in Rajasthan.
The student had come to prepare for the Medical Entrance Exam NEET UG. He was only 17 years old. Police said that the family members have been informed about the student's suicide. Today the relatives will come to Kota, there will be a postmortem of the dead body.
Lived with cousin in the hostel
This case pertains to Rajiv Gandhi Nagar under Jawaharnagar police station area of Kota city. The name of the deceased student was Pushpendra Singh. He lived in the hostel. He had come to Kota from Jalore 7 days ago and had joined coaching. His cousin lived with him. He had gone to the market at the time of the incident. When he came back to the hostel after about 15 to 20 minutes, Pushpendra did not open the door.
The cousin immediately informed the hostel manager. The glass of the rear window was broken and the situation inside was shocking. Jawahar Nagar police station officer Vasudev Singh said that Pushpendra had come to Kota about seven days ago for coaching. He had taken admission in a private coaching for the preparation of Medical Entrance Exam NEET UG.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Kailash Jindal also reached the spot on the incident. The body of the deceased student was shifted to the hospital. No suicide note has been found. So far in the year 2023, 18 coaching students have committed suicide. Among those who died, many had come to Kota to prepare for the medical and engineering entrance exams.
