Jaipur: Rajasthan Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has said that most of Sachin Pilot's demands have been accepted. Talking to media here he said a bill has also come for life imprisonment for paper leakers. The maximum punishment for that has been life imprisonment and we have fulfilled their demands to a large extent.
Randhawa said if there are any more demands then we will consider them also. Pilot has been the President of PCC for seven years. He is close to Rahul Gandhi, he is also close to me as well as CM Gehlot. Both contested the elections together. When two men are together difference of opinion is sometimes inevitable. There is estrangement even between real brothers. We will solve small things. Sachin ji said that forget the past, forget the present too, talk about the future. Neither I nor he can give more clarification than this.
This will be criterion for giving ticket
On the question of parameters of giving ticket, he said the formula for ticket distribution will be winnability. Tickets won't be given on recommendations of anyone. Winability will considered while giving tickets, this is the biggest challenge.
Gehlot-Pilot have lobbied to give tickets in September. On this Randhawa said that the tickets should be finalized by September. Discussions were also held in this matter during the meeting with Rahul Gandhi and Kharge saheb, he said. It should be done soon, we will do it, Randhawa said.
Gudha's stand on Manipur incident was against party's stand
When asked about Rajendra Singh Gudha, he said that Gudha's stand on a shameful incident like Manipur was against the party's stand. On such a serious issue, if the minister stood up and said that Instead of raising the issue of Manipur, we should introspect about our own performance, then action had to be taken on it. Gudha spoke against the stand of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi on Manipur incident. It cannot be tolerated if a minister tries to divert the incident which has shamed the whole country.
Randhawa also said all the BSP MLAs who joined Congress along with Gudha don't have a similar strand. He said I don't think that if one man talks like this, others will follow him. MLAs who came from BSP meet me, keep their demands, talk about Congress. All are in touch with me and are with the Congress, he said.
On Gudha's announcement that he will make a big disclosure in the assembly on Monday, Randhawa asked why has it not disclosed till date? It should have been disclosed, not kept in mind.
