I fervently desire Ashi to flourish


Shubhangi Atre says relying solely on traditional parenting methods is insufficient. Life is characterized by change, so we must embrace flexibility in all aspects, including our approach to parenting. 


Shubhangi says from the moment her daughter Ashi entered this world, an overwhelming sense of responsibility washed over her, and she embraced it wholeheartedly. Love intertwines with responsibility, bestowing upon it a profound beauty, she said. 


Shubhangi Atre says as a modern parent, she fervently desires Ashi to flourish and cultivate her individuality. 



I do not impose my value system upon her


She said, "I do not impose my value system upon her and instead strive to foster an environment where she can confidently explore her beliefs and identity. Above all, I want her to know that I will forever stand by her side. A parent in this new era should embody the roles of mentor, friend, guide, and attentive listener."

Media and Entertainment sector lower downs 24% in 2020 despite last-quarter rebound

  India's media and entertainment (M&E) sector lower downed 24% to Rs1.38 trillion in 2020 due to the corona-virus pandemic. The contractions came despite a rebound in the last-quarter. The M&E sector is supposed to expand 25% to Rs1.73 trillion in 2021 and compound annual growth rate of 13.7% to Rs2.23 trillion by 2023, according to a joint report by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(Ficci) and EY, finance consulting firm.  While advertisement revenues dropped 25% to 19,900 crore and subscriptions fell 20% to 15,400 crores. Digital advertisement remained unchanged, but print (Rs 8,400 crore) and television (Rs 6,900 crore) advertising saw the steepest declines. The only segments that rose in 2020 were digital and online gaming, which added a total of Rs 2,600 crore and their contribution to the M&E sector rose from 16% in 2019 to 23% in 2020.
