Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that Ladli Bahanas would receive Rs. 1250 per month from October under the Ladli Behna Yojana, instead of the Rs. 1000 at present. As a special gift on Raksha Bandhan, they will get an additional Rs. 250. On September 10th, Rs. 1000 rupees will be deposited into their accounts while Rs. 1250 would be deposited from October.
Cooking gas cylinder for Rs. 450 for Shravan month
Chouhan said that Ladli Bahana will get cooking gas cylinder for Rs. 450 for Shravan month. Later, arrangement will be made to continue this. He thanked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching PM Ujjwala Yojana.
The Chief Minister Chouhan made these announcements while addressing Ladli Baana Sammelan held at Jamburi Maidan, Bhopal here today to celebrate Raksha Bandhan.
Women will be given 35% reservation
Speaking on the occasion, CM Chouhan said that in police and other government jobs, women will now be given 35 percent reservation. Fifty percent of teaching positions will be reserved for them. Priority will be given to women in local bodies, including Aldermen and other positions. Education fees of daughters will be borne by the government while ensuring better education to them.
Benefits to be given for joining Livelihood Mission
CM said that those joining Rural Livelihoods Mission, will receive all the benefits. Land will be provided in industrial area for small and medium-sized industries. The goal is to increase monthly income of women upto at least Rs. 10,000.
Chouhan said that land freed from encroachments will be provided to needy Ladli Bahanas in villages and urban areas. Housing facility will also be ensured to them.
Chouhan said that Ladli Bahanas are not required to pay increased electricity bills upto September. Arrangements will be made to ensure that Bills do not exceed Rs. 100. An arrangement of Rs. 900 crore rupees has been made for providing electricity to every needy.
