Madhya Pradesh: Husband Held In Jabalpur For Sana Khan Murder, Had Thrown Body In Hiran River After Killing

BJP leader Sana Khan of Nagpur, Maharashtra has been murdered in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Jabalpur's Gora Bazar police has arrested the accused Amit alias Pappu Sahu in this case. The accused has confessed to killing Sana and throwing the body in Hiran river. Sana had done court marriage with Amit only four months back.

The police took the accused to the spot. However, the body has not been found yet. It has not even been revealed why and how she was murdered. The police have also detained two other people.

Maharashtra police took Amit on remand

Maharashtra Police has taken accused Amit Sahu, his servant Jitendra and another accused to Nagpur on 24-hour remand. On Saturday, after the permission of the court, the Maharashtra Police will bring the accused back to Jabalpur.

Sana came to Jabalpur on Aug 2

BJP leader Sana Khan, who lived in Awasthi Nagar under Mankapur police station of Nagpur, had come to Jabalpur on August 2, since then she was missing. It was learned that she had come to Amit Sahu. The relatives had expressed suspicion of murder on Amit.

Sana gifted a gold chain to her husband

Sana gifted a gold chain to Amit at the time of court marriage. For the past few days whenever Sana used to video call him, that chain was not visible around his neck. 

Many times there was an argument between the two regarding this. The gold chain that Sana had given to Amit was missing from his neck since the month of July. Whenever Sana asked, Amit avoided talking. Sana suspected that Amit had sold the chain.

It is being told that Sana Khan was also fond of wearing gold. She always had jewelery worth four to five lakhs on her hands around her neck. When Sana came to Jabalpur on August 2, she was still wearing gold. 

Sana had 3 mobiles, 8-10 SIMs

BJP leader Sana Khan used to keep three mobiles with her. She also had 8 to 10 different SIMs. Police is also probing with whom and what she used to talk to on these SIMs. Along with Sana, all three mobiles and SIMs are also missing. Sana and Amit's mobiles were switched off since August 2.

Amit had married for the second time. He had first married a female cop, but she left him due to Amit's illegal activities. There was often a dispute between the two. At the time of the lockdown in 2021, Amit used to bring expensive liquor from Maharashtra and sell it from the dhaba in Belkhadu, which she did not like.

After the rift, Amit's wife had given information to the police and got liquor worth lakhs of rupees seized. Sources reveal that Sana and the female cop often used to talk to each other. The cop had also given important information to Sana about Amit alias Pappu Sahu.

BJP leader Sana Khan was missing since August 2. State General Secretary of Minority Morcha Maharashtra, Junaid Khan had written a letter to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding a CID inquiry regarding this. 

Nagapur police came to Jabalpur on Aug 3

It is said that after the disappearance of Sana Khan, Nagpur police came to Jabalpur on 3rd August. Along with four policemen of Maharashtra Police, the MP Police also kept searching for Sana Khan. The police also searched Amit Sahu's Rajul Apartment in Bilhari, but nothing was found there. The police also went to Amit Sahu's dhaba in Belkhadu, but nothing was found there either.

The police had detained Jitendra, a servant working in the dhaba. Jitendra told the police that Amit Sahu had come to the dhaba by car on the day of the incident. He asked Jitendra to clean the car. The servant also told that while he was cleaning the car, traces of blood were found in the trunk of the car. When he asked, Amit scolded and him and asked him to keep quiet.
