Madhya Pradesh: Kamal Nath Said This About Pandit Pradeep Mishra Narrating Kath In Chhindwara After Dhirendra Shastri

Bhopal: After Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, now Pandit Pradeep Mishra will narrate the Kath in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Former Chief Minister and State President of Congress Kamal Nath said – Pandit Mishra had given the date two months back. He is also welcome. This Katha has nothing to do with politics or election.

The PCC Chief was speaking at the Kesh Shilpi Sammelan organized at the State Congress office on Tuesday. He said, 'I have said that the biggest power of our country is spiritual power. The crowd that gathers is a symbol of spiritual power. I am happy that all the people who come here get a chance to see Chhindwara. The people of Chhindwara are also happy.'

'Dhirendra Shastri did not talk about Hindu nation'

On the news of Dhirendra Shastri's announcement to make India a Hindu nation, Kamal Nath said – he did not talk about Hindu nation. He talked about all religions. He dedicated the whole day yesterday to Sarvadharma. People of all religions were called on the stage. What is the point of making a Hindu Rashtra, here 82% are Hindus anyway.

'How can we celebrate Tribal Day?'

Kamal Nath said- I attended the closing program of Swabhiman Yatra in Jhabua on Monday. There was also a programme of World Tribal Day. I have to say that how can we celebrate Tribal Day when Madhya Pradesh is number one in atrocities on tribals. Every day something or the other is happening.

15 tribals from Anuppur district were thrashed in Rajkot, Gujarat. Tribals are being oppressed. What will we say to the world on World Tribal Day? How are we celebrating Tribal Day? It's a shame. What is happening in Manipur? There is a dispute between tribals and non-tribals. All these situations are in front of everyone today.

'No one is worried about the state'

On the Khandwa stone pelting incident, Kamal Nath said – just now everyone saw in Singrauli that the son of a BJP MLA fired on a tribal. All this is happening in Madhya Pradesh. No one is worried about running the state here. This is the condition of the state. I am very sad… I am very worried that how will the state run for the next 4 months? Because no one is focused on running the state.

'Everyone busy in looting state as much as possible before elections'

Nath said now everyone is busy figuring out how much they can loot before the assembly elections. Has anyone ever asked the government what happened to the loan of three and a half lakh crores? No one will ask how many contracts were given and how much advance was taken for the contracts.

On being questioned by JDU leader Shivanand Tiwari on organizing Dhirendra Shastri's Katha, Kamal Nath said, 'I had got the Hanuman temple built 15 years ago. Was that made for any election? I didn't even publicize it. Everyone can see that the biggest Hanuman temple was built 15 years ago in Chhindwara. I had built that temple with my feelings.
