Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi Performs Bhumi- Pujan For Sant Ravidas Temple To Be Built At Badtuma, Sagar

Bhopal: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the memorial and temple of Sant Shiromani Shri Ravidas ji, to be built on 11 acres of land in Badtuma Sagar, Madhya Pradesh at a cost of about 100 crores, amidst chanting of vedic mantras. He also unveiled the rock-plaque and inspected the replica of the temple.

Before Bhumi Pujan, PM Modi greeted sadhus and saints of different sects. With this, the Samarsata Yatra started from five places of the state also ended today.

Governor Mangu Bhai Patel, Chief Minister Singh Chouhan, Union Social Justice Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar were specially present on this occasion.

Notably in the month of February itself, CM Chouhan had announced the construction of a magnificent and divine memorial and temple for Sant Ravidas ji. After the foundation stone laid by the Prime Minister today, a grand and supernatural temple will now be built here. 

This temple will be built in Nagre style in 10000 square feet. An Interpretation Museum will also be built here. A museum displaying the work-personality of Sant Ravidas will also be built in this complex.

There will be four galleries in the museum, in which Bhakti Marg, contribution to Nirgun Panth, philosophy of saint and his literature, details of harmony will also be there. Apart from the library, Sangat Hall, Jal Kund, Bhakt Niwas will also be built, which will be equipped with spiritual and modern facilities. 

Devotees and scholars of Sant Ravidas from India and abroad will come to Bhakt Niwas, who will get inspiration from the life of Sant ji. An eatery will be constructed in 15,000 square feet. The temple will have two grand entrances, CCTV cameras and lighting arrangements will also be there.

According to Vastu and configuration, the temple of Sant Ravidas ji will also be a spiritual art museum, which will be an unprecedented place of devotion, faith and devotion. Philosophers and scholars will also come from India and abroad. The work, personality and philosophy of Saint Ravidas ji will be inspirational for the whole world.
