After the violence in Nuh, Haryana, the High Court has put a stay on the bulldozer action of the state government. As soon as the order of the High Court came, Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khargata immediately stopped the officers from taking action. The High Court took suo-moto cognizance of the government's demolition. Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia of the Punjab and Haryana High Court gave the stay order.

Bulldozer action was also taken in other areas
So far in Nuh, the administration has taken action at 37 places and got 57.5 acres of land vacated. Of these, 162 permanent and 591 temporary structures were demolished. Apart from Nuh town, bulldozer action was also taken in areas like Punhana, Nagina, Ferozepur Jhirka and Pinganwa.
Yesterday, the administration had also demolished the 3-storey Sahara Hotel from which stones were allegedly pelted on the day of violence. The administration says that the hotel owner knew everything, but he did not stop the rioters from collecting stones.
Duration of curfew relaxation increased
After the violence in Nuh, duration of curfew relaxation has been increased. On Monday, the administration has given permission to open government offices, banks, ATMs. However, banks and ATMs will open only from 11 am to 3 pm.
The relaxation time in curfew has now been changed from 9 am to 1 pm. The administration says that people can go to the government office or banks, ATMs by showing the identity card.
Internet to remain shut in Nuh till 8 Aug 12 midnight
Internet will remain shut in Nuh till 12 midnight on 8th August. Internet has been closed in Palwal today i.e. till 12 midnight on 7th August. In view of the tense situation in Faridabad's Ballabhgarh, internet was suspended late on Sunday night. Which will remain shut till 12 midnight tonight.
Educational institutions open in Palwal
Schools and other educational institutions which were closed for a week have opened in Palwal district adjacent to Nuh. However, very few children have reached government schools. Strict security arrangements have been made here.
The government has withdrawn additional security from Congress MLA Maman Khan from Ferozepur Jhirka seat in Nuh. However, he will have 2 security personnel deployed as MLA protocol. Regarding the removal of security, Maman Khan said that he is getting threats.
He also said that other Congress MLAs of Nuh had also made statements about Monu Manesar, but the security was reduced only for him. The Haryana government is deliberately targeting them.
One-sided action: Owaisi
All India Majilis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday hit out at the BJP-led Haryana government for the demolition drive in Nuh district following the communal clashes, alleging one-sided action against poor Muslims even as "real criminals". are roaming freely”. Owaisi said that hundreds of poor families have been rendered homeless just on the basis of allegations.
