Jaipur: Rajasthan's Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot inaugurated Oxygen City Park (The Garden of Joy) in Kota on Wednesday.
He visited the park along with Assembly Speaker Dr CP\Joshi, Autonomous Government Minister Shanti Dhariwal and other ministers.
Gehlot also planted saplings in the park.
The CM conducted a mass photoshoot in front of the Tree Man statue made of gun metal.
More than 2 lakh saplings have been planted in the Oxygen Park.
Children welcomed Shri Gehlot by giving flowers in the Children Park. Gehlot wrote a congratulatory message for the children.
CM also inspected the park while sitting in the boat.
The Chief Minister said that Rajasthan has become a model state in urban development.
He said people will get a stress free happy environment. In this park, the people of Kota as well as the students preparing for various competitive examinations will get a pleasant environment, the CM said.
Gehlot said people will be stress free by roaming here amidst nature and music. A huge fountain has also been built at both the entrances to the park.
Education Minister BD Kalla, Agriculture Minister SLalchand Kataria, Revenue Minister Shri Ramlal Jat along with ministers, MLAs and other public representatives were present in the ceremony
Architect Anoop Barataria gave complete information about the development and features of the park.
The park is built at a cost of Rs 120 crore. Construction work took 800 days.

Park spreads over 30 hectare area
Four KM paved track and 1.25 KM jogging track along the canal
A canal of 1.04 KM length and 12-15 meter width
An aviary for 200 foreign and native birds
85 percent greenery developed naturally
15 meter high statues made of gun metal (Tree Man, Knowledge is Freedom, Save the Earth)
Construction of a glass house of 13 x 28 meters
1 Artificial Hill (Art Hill)
3D mapping will be done on 12 x 12 meter and 9 meter high inverted pyramid
Duck pond 45 x 40 meters
A waterfall emerges in a length of 320 meters
There are 2 stone bridges, 1 wooden bridge, 1 ramp bridge over the canal in the park
Food Zone, Cafe, City Market, Amphitheater, Kids Zone, Open Gym
