Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: Narayan Panchariya Said This About Vasundhara Raje Being Sidelined, Factionalism In Party State Unit

Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023: The election bugle has sounded in Rajasthan. In such a situation, all the parties are busy in their respective preparations. Whereas BJP is one step ahead of Congress by releasing the first list.

Top BJP leaders busy in damage control

Meanwhile, the fight for ticket in BJP is also going on. Top leaders are busy in damage control. A dozen candidates seeking BJP tickets have rebelled against BJP. Big leaders of BJP have also taken charge for damage control.

On Thursday, Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Ajmer, Satish Poonia in Sriganganagar, Organization General Secretary Chandrashekhar in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan co-incharge Vijaya Rahatkar in Sanchore and Arun Singh in-charge in Jaipur took charge for damage control.

At the same time, the high command is also not unaware of the discussion about sidelining Vasundhara Raje. In this regard, BJP leader Narayan Panchariya has given a big statement regarding Vasundhara.

On Thursday, Rajasthan BJP Election Management Committee convener Narayan Panchariya was on Bharatpur tour. Panchariya said on factionalism that “there is no camp except BJP camp in Rajasthan”.

Panchariya said this on leaders of Raje's camp denied ticket

On the question of 20 leaders of Vasundhara faction being denied tickets, Panchariya said, “I do not agree with this at all, there is no faction or camp in BJP. The camp here is of Kamal (lotus i.e. the party symbol) and Bharatiya Janata Party only. Vasundhara Raje ji is also the national vice president of BJP. If there is any big leader after Nadda ji, it is Vasundhara Raje ji." Panchariya said that she herself is a member of the policy making committee.

'Congressmen contact BJP daily'

Meanwhile, on the question of leaders coming to BJP from Congress, Panchariya said, "There is a long line of Congressmen who contact BJP daily. We have to think whom to take and whom to leave. Leaders are jumping off the sinking ship of Congress and joining BJP."

Panchariya further said, “Mafia were born at many places during Congress rule. At some places there is mining mafia and at other places there is gravel mafia. Rajasthan ranks first in the country in atrocities against women. Every girl's mother is afraid that her child is neither safe in school nor safe in the hospital."

'Congress restless with BJP's first list'

Panchariya said that it is the party's decision as to who should contest the elections, it is decided by the high command as to whom to give ticket to. Taking aim at the Congress, Panchariya said that as soon as we announced the tickets for 41 seats, the Congress became restless and lost its confidence.

BJP did not get any seat in Bharatpur in 2018

On the issue of former Bharatpur Municipal Assembly MLA Anita Singh Gurjar resigning after not getting the ticket, Panchariya said that everyone is free to come and go in BJP. In the 2018 assembly elections, BJP could not win even a single seat in the 7 assembly seats of Bharatpur. Here Congress had won 6 seats and one seat went to Subhash Garg of Rashtriya Lok Dal.
