MP Elections 2023: Priyanka came from Dubai to vote

 

Bhopal: There was a lot of enthusiasm among the young and first time voters towards voting on the great festival of democracy in Shahdol. Shahdol resident Priyanka came from Dubai and exercised her franchise. She said that voting must be done for a strong democracy.

A festival-like scene was seen at the model polling centers set up at various places in Ujjain district on the voting day under Assembly-2023 on Friday. On the occasion of the great festival of democracy, various types of decorations were done in the model polling stations. Rangoli was made and Tulsi plants were distributed in the model polling center set up in the Government Girls Higher Secondary School located at Dussehra Maidan. The coming voters were also congratulated on the great festival of democracy.

Posters and banners were also put up around the polling stations to make voters aware. Awareness messages were displayed on these and circulated. Selfie points were also made for voters at polling stations. After voting, voters also took selfies at these points.



Height 30 inches, desire to touch the sky


18-year-old Kailash Thakur, 30 inches tall and resident of Gram Panchayat Khaddevra of Mandla assembly constituency, reached the polling station and voted enthusiastically for the first time. The excitement of voting for the first time was clearly visible on his face.

Kailash said that today I have cast the first vote of my life and I cannot tell how happy I am. Contributing to the development of the country is a matter of pride in itself. We all should vote for the nation.
