Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: Dissatisfaction among Gujjar community over Pilot not projected as CM face; ex-deputy CM said this

Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: Congress leader and former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is a legislator from Tonk, Rajasthan. The party has once again fielded him from this seat.

Amidst this, there are reports of dissatisfaction among the Gujjar community due to Pilot not being projected as CM face again. The discussion has intensified once again on whether Sachin Pilot will be made the Chief Minister if Congress wins the Rajasthan Assembly Election or not.

Decisions about individual responsibilities after returning to power: Pilot

In response to this question, Pilot has stated that the party believes in collective leadership, and decisions about individual responsibilities will be made after returning to power.

The former Deputy CM stated, "Our goal is to come together, fight the election, and secure a majority. If we come back to power, we will sit across the table and decide who should do what. This process was adopted in 2018, and it will be repeated this time as well."

We have faith in collective leadership: Pilot

Congress leader Sachin Pilot mentioned that we respect each other and have faith in collective leadership. We will fight the election together and secure a majority. After that, their legislators and the party will decide who will be given what responsibility. If anyone has a problem, they should bring it to the party leadership and resolve the issues.

It is noteworthy that voting in Rajasthan will take place on November 25 in a single phase, with counting on December 3. In the 2018 Assembly elections, Congress won 99 out of 200 seats, while BJP secured 73 seats. However, with the support of BSP and independent legislators, the Congress government was successful, and Ashok Gehlot was made the Chief Minister. Since then, Sachin Pilot's supporters have been unhappy with him not being appointed as the CM.
