Rajasthan Election 2023: How Sandeep Dayma is posing challenge to Balaknath Yogi even after being expelled from BJP?

Rajasthan Election 2023: In the aftermath of the controversial remarks made by Sandeep Dayma about Sikh gurudwaras in Tijara, Alwar, during Yogi Adityanath's rally, the party took decisive action by ousting him and terminating his membership.

Despite these measures, Sandeep Dayma persists in campaigning in the area, accompanying Balaknath Yogi. This development has the potential to create tension for Balaknath, as the Sikh community is vehemently opposing Sandeep Dayma, organizing protests nationwide.

Sandeep Dayma made controversial comments

The Tijara assembly seat is a highly contested one in Rajasthan, and during the nomination filing of BJP candidate Baba Balaknath, a rally featuring Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took place. It was during this event that Sandeep Dayma made controversial comments about mosques and gurudwaras, leading to widespread protests by the Sikh community.

Dayma continues to actively campaign

In response to the growing opposition to Sandeep Dayma, O.P. Singh Lakhawat, the chairman of the state disciplinary committee, expelled him from the party and revoked his primary membership. Despite his expulsion, Sandeep Dayma, who hails from the Gurjar community and wields significant influence, continues to actively campaign in the region.

Sandeep Dayma, the former chairman of Bhivadi Nagar Parishad, is tirelessly campaigning in the area, prominently displaying the BJP's symbol even after being ousted from the party.

Throughout the day, he is seen campaigning alongside Balaknath, and this continued association may potentially harm Balaknath's electoral prospects. The Sikh community's dissatisfaction with Sandeep Dayma could extend to impact Balaknath, particularly in the Tijara assembly constituency where the Sikh community holds substantial voting power. It is evident that instead of benefiting Balaknath, Sandeep Dayma's presence is proving detrimental.
