Rajasthan Election 2023: Sachin Pilot supporter MLA Khiladi Lal Bairwa said this after denied ticket, will his candidature harm Congress

Rajasthan Election 2023: An election atmosphere is now prevailing in Rajasthan as all the candidates have entered the race. Some candidates are happy after receiving the ticket, while others are disgruntled. Among them, Khiladi Lal Bairwa, the Congress MLA representing the Baseri assembly seat in Dholpur district, expressed his disappointment after not receiving the party's ticket. 

Khiladi Lal Bairwa is known for his association with the Sachin Pilot group. In its fourth candidate list, the Congress party announced Sanjay Jatav as the replacement for Bairwa. Today, Bairwa's disappointment was evident once again, prompting him to join the race as an independent candidate. In such a situation the Baseri seat is likely to see a triangular contest and Bairwa’s candidature could harm the prospects of Congress. 

'I remain dedicated to Sachin Pilot ji'

Khiladi Lal Bairwa took to Twitter and wrote, "I admired Sachin Pilot ji, who was considered the future of Rajasthan, but Gehlot ji did not share the same sentiment. This political disagreement led to the cancellation of my ticket. Nonetheless, I hold no grudges, and I remain dedicated to Sachin Pilot ji. @kharge, your loyal Khiladi Lal Bairwa ji."

Bairwa had alleged that his ticket was revoked due to his association with the high command during an incident that occurred on September 25. Instead of blaming the party, he pointed fingers at rebel leaders for the decision. Bairwa expressed his deep appreciation for the support he received from his followers, emphasizing that their loyalty meant more to him than the party. He pledged not to abandon them.

Bairwa is known for making headline-grabbing statements 

Khiladi Lal Bairwa, who had resigned from his position as Chairman of the Rajasthan Scheduled Caste Commission after not receiving the ticket, held Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accountable for the decision. Bairwa is known for making headline-grabbing statements and has previously made remarks about CM Gehlot. Meanwhile, the Congress party has expressed confidence in Sanjay Jatav, who had previously contested and lost in the Lok Sabha elections from the Karauli-Dholpur constituency on the Congress ticket. Khiladi Lal Bairwa has submitted his nomination as an independent candidate.
