Rajasthan Election-2023: Amidst the festive aura of Diwali and the resounding bursts of fireworks in Rajasthan, a compelling poster is creating a stir, reminiscent of the 2018 political scene. Portraying a duo akin to Jai-Veeru from the iconic movie "Sholay," the familiar faces of Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot grace the poster of Congress. This dynamic pair, instrumental in dismantling the BJP stronghold in 2018, is poised for a comeback in the 2023 political battle.
Cong seems to have played its trump card
In reality, a grand roadshow orchestrated by the Congress party is set to unfold in Ajmer on November 15. The visuals of Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot on the poster, backed by the Congress Guarantee, have heightened the political atmosphere in Rajasthan. As the Congress appears to be losing ground in opinion polls, the party seems to have played its trump card, employing the same strategy that propelled them to victory in 2018.
Guarantee Yatra to span over 4,400 kilometers
The Congress embarked on its Guarantee Yatra on November 7, inaugurated by Chief Minister Gehlot at the Moti Dungari Temple in Jaipur. Despite a pause due to Diwali, the Congress guarantee yatra is regaining momentum. Spanning over 4,400 kilometers, the yatra covers the 7 regions of the state, with the Jaipur leg completed and the route progressing through Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Kota, and Bharatpur.
The itinerary encompasses approximately 250 programs, including 137 Congress Guarantee Dialogues, 10 roadshows, and public rallies, with Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge set to join.
Cong might lose votes if Pilot is not the face this time
Feedback from various districts, including Dausa, Dholpur, and Bharatpur, indicates a common concern among the populace questioning Sachin Pilot's role. Dissatisfaction is voiced, with people expressing their dismay, questioning why Congress presented the dream of Pilot as Chief Minister if it wasn't meant to materialize.
There's a prevailing sentiment that if Pilot is not the face this time, Congress might lose votes. Interestingly, dissatisfaction extends beyond Gehlot to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. In response to such feedbacks, Congress insiders reveal a decision to bring Pilot to the forefront.
