Second edition of Congress's Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra to begin from Gujarat from this date

The second edition of Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra is anticipated to be organized between December 2023 and February 2024, with Rahul Gandhi embarking on a Yatra from Gujarat to Meghalaya. Unlike the previous yatra, this time, the expedition will involve both walking on foot and the use of vehicles.

The route for this yatra was disclosed by Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole on August 8. In September, Congress leader P Chidambaram announced during a press conference that the party was in the planning stages for the second phase of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

The inaugural Bharat Jodo Yatra extended from Kanyakumari to Srinagar. Rahul Gandhi's first Bharat Jodo Yatra commenced on September 7 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, and concluded on January 30 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir.

This remarkable Yatra spanned 145 days, covering approximately 3,570 kilometers and traversing the borders of 14 states. These states included Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir.

At the conclusion of the yatra in Srinagar, at the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, Rahul had said - I have done this yatra not for myself or for the Congress but for the people of the country. Our aim is to stand against an ideology that seeks to destroy the foundation of this country.
