Madhya Pradesh: Cong slams video depicting CM Mohan Yadav being welcomed by 'Hanuman', what Netizens said

Bhopal: A video from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's 'Viksit Sankalp Yatra' in Ujjain has garnered attention from the Opposition Congress on social media.

In the footage, a man dressed as Lord Hanuman is seen suspended in the air, swinging from a JCB machine with a rope while adorning the newly announced chief minister with a garland.

In response to the video, Supriya Shrinate, the Chairperson of Congress' Digital platforms, labeled it as 'hypocrisy,' suggesting that the act was disrespectful to the deity. Shrinate shared the video on platform 'X,' formerly known as Twitter, questioning, "Aren't those who decry hypocrisy bothered by such actions?"

In reaction to Shrinate's post, some users in the comments section mocked the incident, while others expressed their displeasure. One user pointed out that Congress had also offended sentiments by referring to Bajrang Bali's Guru Shri Ram as imaginary.

On December 16, Saturday, CM Yadav received a grand welcome in his hometown, Ujjain, marking his first visit since assuming office. The visit was in connection with the inauguration of the Viksit Sankalp Yatra.

The nationwide campaign 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' led by the central government, aims to oversee and enhance public awareness of the country's key programs, including Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, PM Surkasha Bima, PM SVANidhi, and others.
