PM Modi opens Ayodhya Dham railway station, Maharshi Valmiki airport, did a 15 km long road show


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed building of Ayodhya Dham railway station.


After inaugurating this building, he flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains and six Vande Bharat trains.


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav were also present on this occasion.



Did a 15 km long road show 


Before this, he did a road show on the 15 km long Rampath from the newly built airport.


The 'Rampath' on which PM Modi did the road show today used to be narrow earlier. It has been widened by demolishing the houses built on its banks.


Three weeks before the Pran Pratishtha ceremony to be held at the Ram temple on January 22, he has reached there to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several infrastructure projects.



Modi inaugurated Maharshi Valmiki airport 


After inaugurating the redeveloped Ayodhya railway station, PM Modi inaugurated Maharshi Valmiki airport in Ayodhya.


Earlier, Airports Authority of India chairman Sanjeev Kumar affirmed that the construction was completed in a record time of 20 months.


Modi will also participate in a public program where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of development projects worth more than Rs 15,700 crore for Uttar Pradesh.


These include projects worth about Rs 11,100 crore for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas, and projects worth about Rs 4,600 crore related to other works across Uttar Pradesh.


This visit by the prime minister comes just ahead of the 'pran pratishtha' or consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.


The temple is currently under construction here, with the consecration ceremony to be held on January 22, which will be attended by the prime minister.
