These are unbelievable features of Swarved Mahamandir inaugurated by PM Modi in Varanasi

On December 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated Swarved Mahamandir, the world's largest meditation center, located in Umaraha, Varanasi. Following the inauguration, both Prime Minister Modi and Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, explored the magnificent meditation building, which accommodates 20,000 guests simultaneously.

Whether you're a spiritual seeker, a cultural enthusiast, or simply in search of a breathtaking architectural wonder, Swarved Mahamandir is a must-add to your travel bucket list.

This seven-story structure, named after the spiritual text Swarveda, features verses from the Swarveda on its walls. It was established in honor of Sadguru Shri Sadafal Deoji Maharaj, the founder of Vihangam Yoga and an eternal yogi.

The foundation was laid in 2004 by Sadguru Acharya Swantantra Dev and Sant Pravar Vigyan Dev. Occupying a vast 3,00,000 square feet in the Umaraha neighborhood of Varanasi, the temple involved the collaborative efforts of fifteen engineers and six hundred laborers.

With seven floors and a capacity for 20,000 devotees, it stands as an architectural marvel. The temple boasts 101 fountains, elaborately carved teakwood doors and ceilings, pink sandstone-adorned walls, and a charming garden filled with medicinal plants.

A modern representation of India's social and spiritual strength

Prime Minister Modi hailed Swarved Mahamandir as a modern representation of India's social and spiritual strength, positioning it as one of the world's largest meditation and Vihangam Yog centers. During the inauguration, he expressed admiration for the depiction of divine teachings on the walls, considering it a contemporary symbol of India's social and spiritual prowess.

According to the temple's website, Swarved Mahamandir aspires to "illuminate humankind with its magnificent spiritual aura and engulf the world in a state of peaceful alertness." Beyond its architectural grandeur, the temple contributes to India's growing number of spirituality centers.
