Madhya Pradesh: 22-yr-old dies after suffering heart attack during cricket match in Khargone


Khargone: A young player suffered a heart attack during a cricket match in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. The 22-year-old player suddenly had chest pain, after which his fellow players took him to the hospital. During this time he died on the way.


A cricket tournament was being organized in Katkoot village of Barwah police station area, about 80 kilometers from Khargone district headquarters. During the batting of his team, 22 year old Indal, son of Ram Prasad, batted tremendously. When it was his turn to bowl, Indal bowled brilliantly, but he died due to a heart attack while bowling.


Sat under a tree


Indal was bowling brilliantly; meanwhile he left bowling and sat under a tree in the field. After some time, he called out to his friends and said that he was having chest pain, please take me to the hospital. His friends immediately took him to the hospital in the village itself. There the doctor advised to take him to Barwah. All the players left the game and took Indal to a private hospital, where he was declared dead.


Started sweating while bowling


Deceased's fellow player Saligram Gurjar told that a cricket tournament was going on in Katkoot. After the fifth over, Indal felt uneasiness and left the game. He said he was suffocating, sweating and feeling nervous. We took him to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead. 


Rise in heart attack cases


The occurrence of heart attacks among young people has increased in recent years, especially after coronavirus pandemic. Only a few days back in Bhopal a 22-year-old BTech graduate died in Piplani on Monday night. He was cooking food with his room-mates when he suddenly complained of giddiness and collapsed. His room-mates rushed him to a private hospital from where doctors referred him to Hamidia hospital where he was declared brought dead.
