Ujjain: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that along with development in all sectors, promotion of religious and spiritual tourism is the priority of the state government. Local tourism has increased since the construction of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, the city of Baba Mahakal, on the initiative of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Along with increasing other means of transportation, better air services will also be started for the convenience of devotees and tourists to reach Ujjain.
CM Dr. Mohan Yadav was discussing with media representatives today after inspecting various works going on for the convenience of devotees and tourists at Mahakal Temple in Ujjain. While inspecting the arrangements of Mahakal Temple, CM Dr. Yadav received information from the concerned officials regarding the quality and progress of the works and gave necessary instructions.
Movement of devotees has increased
Dr. Yadav said that after the construction of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, the movement of devotees has increased in large numbers. Recently, the need for air services is also being felt for the devotees coming to Ujjain after the consecration of Lord Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya. He said that an action plan will be made for this so that a convenient helipad and airport can be built in Ujjain.
CM said that tourists coming to Malwa region compulsorily come to Ujjain for Mahakal Darshan. Various arrangements are necessary in view of the upcoming Simhastha. The effort is to make it possible to have darshan of Baba Mahakal easily and in a short time, especially the disabled, old people and children can have darshan quickly.
