Jayant Chaudhary is trending on Twitter, what are people saying

On Friday, Jayant Chaudhary had praised PM Modi after his grandfather and former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh was given Bharat Ratna.

Almost confirming the alliance with BJP in Uttar Pradesh, Rashtriya Lok Dal president Jayant Chaudhary said that "how can he say no to the question of alliance" after conferment of Bharat Ratna to his grandfather and former Prime Minister Chaudhury Charan Singh.

When asked if he is ready to join hands with BJP-NDA, RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary says, "Koi kasar rehti hai? Aaj main kis muh se inkaar karoon aapke sawalon ko."  (Is there any problem? How can I refuse your questions today?) Jayant Chaudhary implied there was no problem in aligning with NDA. However, he has not yet made any formal announcement of joining NDA.

Since his statement to the media, he has been continuously trending on Twitter. People are comparing him on social media with Nitish Kumar's defection.

What are people saying on Twitter

A user named Equality has shared the old statement speech of Jayant Choudhary. In this, Jayant Chaudhary is saying, "This government is a very cruel government. It is a government of lies...."

Several users are are sharing a previous remark made by Jayant Chaudhary, in which he expresses that he cannot switch positions as effortlessly as a 'Chavanni' (25 paise coin) that flips easily.

Jayant Chaudhary had posted on the microblogging site X, "Dil jeet liya (Won hearts)."  (after announcement of Bharat Ratna to Charan Singh.)

Apparently referring to this post,  a user Ashok Kumar Pandey wrote, "The hearts of Jayant Chaudhary and his 'secular' soldiers have been won. The heart means deal (that is the deal of joining NDA has been finalized). The formalities of the announcement will be completed in two-three days."

Journalist Rajeev Ranjan wrote, "If Bal Thackeray and Prakash Singh Badal had also got Bharat Ratna, it would have been easier for Sukhbir Badal and Uddhav to join NDA like Nitish Kumar and Jayant Chaudhary."

Journalist Aadesh Rawal wrote, "By giving Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, the Modi government has built a paved road for Jayant Chaudhary, which will bring him to BJP without any problem. \Jayant and Jats of western Uttar Pradesh would have faced a lot of problems in coming on the rough kutcha path."

A user named Ansar wrote, "Ideology has no place in current politics."
