Shah emphasized Modi's achievements, citing overall development, financial aid to farmers, and the elevation of the economy to the fifth position.

Shah said Congress people committed scams from land to sky and sea during their government.

Shah said that overall development took place during Modi's 10-year rule. He said that Modi ji has done the work of giving 6 thousand rupees to every farmer every year and bringing the economy from 11th to fifth position. There has been rapid development in the last 10 years.

Hundreds of our workers were killed in Bengal. BJP national president JP Nadda on Sunday said the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony and the grand opening of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya ushered in a 'new era.

Beginning of a new era: Nadda

Earlier, BJP National President JP Nadda, addressing party leaders, highlighted the significance of the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony and the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He described it as the beginning of a new era in the country, marking the fulfillment of a solemn resolution.

Nadda recounted the swift progress in the construction of the Ram Temple after the Supreme Court's judgment in 2019. The ongoing convention aims to strategize for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, with PM Modi and Nadda presiding over a meeting of BJP-ruled states' Chief Ministers.

Nadda said, "The 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya was celebrated as a national festival and also made waves globally. The event signalled the birth of a new era in the country."

Nadda said further, "Constructing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya was one of our solemn resolutions and the event of December 22, last year, marked the fulfilment of the same. As you all are aware, after the landmark Supreme Court judgement (in the Ram Janmabhoomi case) on November 9, 2019, the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi formed the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to oversee the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya."

Before the speeches, a minute of silence was observed to pay tribute to Jain seer Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, who passed away. Prime Minister Modi, in his inaugural address, emphasized the symbolic importance of 370 for the BJP, connecting it to the party's tribute to saffron ideologue Syama Prasad Mukherjee.

The convention also witnessed the passing of a political resolution condemning the violent crackdown on opposition protests in West Bengal's Sandeshkhali against alleged excesses on women.
