New Delhi: Poonam Pandey, the renowned model and reality TV personality, has lost her battle with cervical cancer, according to her management team. The 32-year-old, last seen on the reality show 'Lock Upp,' courageously confronted the illness, as stated by her team.
Nikita Sharma, Poonam's manager, expressed, "Poonam Pandey, the beloved actress and social media figure, tragically passed away this morning due to cervical cancer, leaving the entertainment industry in shock and mourning."
Nikita Sharma emphasized Poonam's remarkable resilience during her health struggles and underscored the urgent need for heightened awareness and preventive measures against diseases like cervical cancer.
The model's official Instagram page also featured a statement from her team, revealing that Poonam passed away in her hometown of Kanpur, where her last rites will be performed.
"This morning brings profound sorrow as we announce the loss of our cherished Poonam to cervical cancer. Anyone who encountered her experienced pure love and kindness. During this time of mourning, we request privacy as we fondly remember all that we shared," the statement expressed.

Poonam Pandey, with over a million followers on Instagram, gained fame during the 2011 Cricket World Cup when she pledged to strip if India won. Known for her controversial statements and bold videos, she rose to prominence over the years.
In 2022, she participated in the reality show 'Lock Upp,' led by Kangana Ranaut, and also had roles in several films.
