Nitish Kumar passed the floor test in Bihar Assembly on Monday. The opposition had staged a walkout even before voting. Voting was conducted on the demand of the ruling party. 129 votes were cast in support of this. Not a single vote was cast in opposition.
RJD walked out before voting on the confidence motion. 129 votes were cast in favor of the confidence motion. The majority figure in the House is 122.

Earlier, a no-confidence motion was passed against House Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary.
