Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra: Rahul Gandhi Pledges 30 Lakh Government Jobs for Youths, These Are His Other Guarantees

Banswara: During the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra public meeting in Banswara, Rajasthan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi unveiled five significant assurances for youth justice. Gandhi committed to providing 30 lakh government jobs if the Congress party assumes power at the Centre. The announcement was made during a public gathering in Banswara as part of his 'Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.'

Discussing the party's proposed initiatives for the youth, impoverished, and other sections, Rahul Gandhi emphasized, "What will the Congress party do for the youth? As a first step, we have identified - there are 30 lakh vacant government positions in India... (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji has not filled them. The BJP has not filled them. The first action we will take upon assuming office is filling these 30 lakh government jobs."

Gandhi outlined five historic initiatives, which include establishing a recruitment trust for the youth, filling 30 lakh vacant posts, ensuring the first job confirmation, eliminating paper leaks, providing social security for gig workers, and introducing 'Yuva Roshni.' Additionally, the Congress Party's manifesto will pledge a legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for farmers.

Rahul said: We will not only fill the vacant posts in various government institutions, public sectors and schemes like Asha/Anganwadi but will also create new posts in departments like education, health and railways where additional work force is required.

Rahul Gandhi's Five Pledges for Youth Empowerment

Recruitment Assurance: The Congress party commits to providing 30 lakh jobs in the central government. A schedule will be issued to complete the recruitment process in a time-bound manner.

Guaranteed First Job: A new Apprenticeship Rights Act guarantees one year of apprenticeship (training) in a public or private sector company for every diploma holder or college graduate. Trainees will receive Rs 1 lakh (Rs 8,500/month).

Freedom from Paper Leaks: Congress assures new laws to prevent collusion or conspiracy in public examinations, ensuring the highest standards of honesty and fairness. Stringent measures will be taken to halt paper leaks, safeguarding the future of millions of youth.

Under this, not only the world class examination pattern will be implemented but every unreliable element responsible for paper leak will be excluded from the recruitment process.

Rahul said we will set UPSC like standards in exams up to Group D, giving equal importance to every recruitment.

‘Bharti Bharosa Yojana’ will not only generate employment for the youth but will also increase the quality of governance, which will directly benefit the people of the country.

Rahul said one year professional working experience strikes at the root of the problem of unemployment. You will not only have your first job, but will also have the opportunity to pursue the same job after a year.

This revolutionary scheme will change the face of Indian industries and the destiny of the youth by closing the skill gap between the industry and India's work force.

Social Security in the Gig Economy: Congress guarantees legislation to improve working conditions and provide social security for the millions of youth entering the gig economy annually.

Yuva Roshni: Congress will establish a Rs 5,000 crore fund with district-wise allocation for five years. Youth under 40 can access startup funding for businesses in any field.

Rahul Gandhi stressed, "The past ten years of injustice are evident in the severe unemployment crisis. This era of injustice has deprived educated and ambitious youth of opportunities for economic advancement and contributing to nation-building. We will take measures to secure the future of every youth and illuminate justice in this darkness of injustice."
